Dear McStas users,

<p>sorry if you found rather strange that two versions of McStas are released

at the same time.

<br>I'd like to precise that the 1.6 alpha is NOT a 'release', and it is

there as an evaluation and test version.

<br>Most freeware packages usually provide a stable version, and a 'next

step' version.

This is the case for the 1.6 alpha.

<br>Use the McStas 1.5 as usual, but you may want to try what is in the

pipe and will come next with the 1.6.
