thank you for your last mail and the first aid!

I'm still tryping to get mcdisplay running but something is still
missing. I've installed all packages (from the CD: PGPLOT, PDL,
FLEX). Preinstalled with the Linux system were PERL5.00404 and the
Bison parser. Now calling mcdisplay ends with

What is this? I should mention that unfortunately I 'speak' neither perl
nor C.
