Hello Kristian

First simulations are now completed (tas1-scans script), and exactly give same results as yours at Risoe (according to graphs shown on web page). Anyway computations seem quite slow, but it can surely be improved in the future (better compiling, and perhaps code optimisation, but I guess you already looked at it !).

I plan to write an IN14 description file tomorrow, in order to compare results with the ones given by our Restrax program. I really think McStas is excellent, and I thank you again for it. The HP compilation problem still exists, and I'm currently running on an SGI machine...

About the strange '<Key>ClearLine' error message, there is already a gscan program on SGI, that requires X display... But as tas1 only uses perl script, it's ok.

Rescal program for Matlab is currently used here at ILL by TAS users, and in Montpellier University where I was last year. It's good for 'phenomenological' description of instruments, and usually enough for a modelisation of instrument ellipsoid.

Cheers. Emmanuel.
