Hello Kristian,
I'm now finishing to modelize a typical ILL TAS instrument, using all motors available in an experiment. But there seem to be something strange.
The orientation of the instrument should not modify detector counts. I mean that if you change signs of monochromator and analyser angles (PHM,TTM) and (OMA,TTA), for reasons of symetry, same countings should be obtained. But it isn't the case ! One can find variations in a factor 4 or 5.
Have you been testing such things, and did you noticed it ?
I'll send you some details, and source instrument file, in order that you can see by yourself.
Cheers.
E.
