Dear Kristian,

As for my last question, I found some answer immediately after having send
the message. In fact, as you have written, no convention is necessary, but
the instrument definition has to be consistent. And I was not consistent,
so I had some surprises with monochromator focussing ... So it is not
important if the rotations follow some right hand rule or the clockwise
sense, you have just to apply the same rule rigorously throughout the
instrument, that's all.

Sorry for having bothered you with these trivialities!
