Hello Kristian
We are now performing on IN14/ILL experimental flux test as well as computations for the used configuration with McStas and restrax programs. That should make 3 sets of data to be compared (and one is real !)
I'm now using McStas v1.01 beta and there are 2 things that might be fixed perhaps on HP-UX systems :
1- when executing gscan, each '\n' is duplicated, what produces blank lines between each display line in .sim output file :
In the following example I get 5 detectors in output
1 -6.95048e+08 9.35462e+06
-5.08249e+08 8.01985e+06
-4.00478e+07 2.2823e+06
-4.00466e+07 2.2823e+06
-2.0727e+07 1.63933e+06
1.2 -1.44675e+09 1.34564e+07
-1.08893e+0 ...
instead of
1 -6.95048e+08 9.35462e+06 -5.08249e+08 8.01985e+06 -4.00478e+07 2.2823e+06
-4.00466e+07 2.2823e+06 -2.0727e+07 1.63933e+06
1.2 -1.44675e+09 1.34564e+07 -1.08893e+0 ...
2- This also happens in the direct printf output (on terminal) :
running 'in14_4 --ncount=1e8 KI=1 WN=0.03 DM=3.355 MHV=2'
Instrument : IN14, v4.00
Flat source, m=2.00 noze, width 0.03
Monochromator : (DM = 3.355)
A1 = 69.45, A2 = 138.91 (deg)
This doesn't occur on SGI machines, strange. Perhaps this doesn't happen anymore in 1.04a...
Cheers. We should have IN14/McStas/Restrax comparison results next week.
EF.
