I think now that with perl on HP's, $firsttime is set for each detector, and that causes an additional \n
Note that a direct simulation execution (not with gscan) for 1 parameter set is displayed correctly.

I don't really know perl, but it doesn't seem to be very complicated, except for the 'if' syntax that appears quite strange
