Dear all,
I would like to use the PowderN sample component to simulate diffraction in an iron powder. However I am unsure about how I allow for the density of the powder.
I have a value for sigma_abs (2200m/s) of 2.56. The Powder component has parameters; density, pack and Vc but I am unsure as to how they relate to each other and which I need to alter to allow for the density of the powder (41% that of the solid).
 Any advice greatly appreciated.
 John
