That is fair blame I think - but should very likely be rectifiable by an update of the “Xcode command line tools”?


After a little while I managed to install 3.5.24 and everything looked normal
until I tried to use more than 4e9 source neutrons (no parallelization)

I am pretty used I used 1e10 source neutrons with 3.5.23 successfully! Is there any reason why
this should not work with 3.5.24 anymore?

Nope, there should be nothing blocking you in either version going beyond e.g. 4e9.

If you can rerun / reproduce + send me instrument / required snippets / parameters + the error message / behaviour I will be very happy to dig deeper? 😊
