[mcstas-users] McStas-user lightning talks at ICANS in Malmö

Dear all,


As you may already be aware, the ICANS conference takes place in Malmö,
Sweden on April 13th-17th:

The McStas team has agreed with the ICANS organisers to accommodate
(an informal) session with McStas / instrument-simulation-oriented lightning-talks on
Tuesday April 14th afternoon.


The basic idea is this: Come join us if you are at ICANS.

* If interested, prepare a very short presentation / speech:
  * No slides required - but bring maximum one slide!
  * Could cover for instance:
    * Work you did within instrument-simulation
    * A problem you encountered
    * An idea for improvement of McStas / McStasScript / NCrystal / MCPL / ...
    * … some other McStas- or instrument-simulation oriented theme


We will listen to the lightning-talks, give immediate feedback - and try to start
work to fix problems, document ideas etc. during the ICANS week!

We think the VITESS team is also in Malmö - maybe also Simres. If they are,
we will very likely have this session all together for all teams / users.
