Inevitably configure specialists have thought of the most improbable
mix of configurations! Thanks for the hints. 

Emmanual has hit a problem with the shared mcgui - I think he has told
you.  He is away at present.  I'll take it up with him when he returns
in a day or so. If
you have any suggestions I'd be interested to hear from you.
