Hello everyone,

It seems that the McStas mailing list is functioning again!

Now for some news:

Vitess/McStas workshop:

  As you may have noticed, a joint Vitess and McStas workshop
  was held last week at ISIS. The full McStas team participated,
  and the workshop was a real success! 

  Thanks to Dickon Champion for organising.

Next release:

  A beta version of the next McStas release was tested at the
  workshop. The official release date of the 1.8 release is yet
  unknown, but expected within a few weeks.
