[neutron-mc] Problems with FermiChopper.comp & Chopper_fermi.comp

I encountered several problems with the 2 fermi chopper components mentioned
above.
FermiChopper.comp located in contrib:
If I use 2 choppers I can not compile, because several variables (xstrich,
zstrich) are already defined.
chopper_fermi.comp located in optics:
I try to mimic a straight Fermi chopper, therefore I set the radius of
curvature to large values like 1e6. Problems arise, if I put a small width
for individual slits. E.g. for w=0.005 and n=20 I get a flux of 3e7 for a
radius of 0.05. Changing w=0.001 and n=100 yields flux zero for the same
radius, while w=0.002 and n=50 gives 0.6e6. I don't understand what really
triggers the transmission of the component.

Thank you for any help with the two components

Jörg
