[mcstas-users] McStas 2.1 on Win7prof 64bit machine problem

Dear friends,
I like to report my problem in running mcstas 2.1 on my w7 machine.

I installed the package as recommended. I can start mcgui and load an 
instrument file. Once I try to compile an instrument I get the following 
error messages

I have an Enthougth Python 2.7 installed, which otherwise works fine. 
Have you any idea whats up?
I wouldn't like to kill my python installation as I use it for other 
purpose, too.
