Hi,

just installed McStas 3.0 and have the following problem after an
install on Ubuntu 20.04.

with

cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d
sudo wgethttp://packages.mccode.org/debian/mccode.list
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install mcstas-suite-python-ng

mcgui wont start and gives the following error message:

/usr/bin/mcgui: 14: [[: not found
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError:
/usr/local/lib/python3.8/dist-packages/PyQt5/Qt/lib/libQt5Core.so.5:
version `Qt_5.15' not found (required by
/usr/local/lib/python3.8/dist-packages/PyQt5/Qsci.abi3.so)

I'm completely new to the software, so
perhaps I'm missing something completely obvious.
Any hints would be highly appreciated.

thanks in advance

Richard
